.. the latest application to vary the terms of the Scotts Moor planning obligation; this as you know, having been put in place by North Devon District Council to ensure that the watermeadow continued to function as a link for wildlife passing between the Taw estuary and the nationally recognised Site of Special Scientific Interest a little further upstream.
You will of course be aware that both the initial developer and the current owner have departed from the terms of the original agreement.
First, you will have seen from our site meeting last year that the watermeadow in question has been laid out, not as envisaged in the Obligation.
...to leave matters to the Officers would amount to total abdication.
