RE: North Devon District Council and the Democratic process
You will recall our meeting with you last year concerning the Group's frustration with NDDC and its inaction over activities at Scotts Moor, Bradiford. We have, as you suggested, lodged a formal complaint with the Ombudsman which was submitted in December.
A matter of days after the Council was notified our our complaint, the owner of Scotts Moor (whether by invitation or not) made application to vary the S106 Agreement.
Having discussed matters with our Planning Consultannt we have decided to ask Government Office for a call-in so that the whole matter will be referred to Public Inquiry at which we, as residents Group can have our say.
