I am writing in response to your letter dated 19th May 2009.
The initial response from the Council's Warden was misleading in as much as his investigation showed that material placed upon the private land did not contain any evidence to show who had placed the material in that area.
HOWEVER, SUBSEQUENT INVESTIGATION CARRIED OUT HAS SHOWN THAT THE LANDOWNER, IN CONJUNCTION WITH DEVON WILDLIFE AND THE ENVIRONMENT AGENCY, HAS BEEN CARRYING OUT WORK THAT HAS INCLUDED THE MOVEMENT OF SPOIL ETC. FROM WITHIN THE OWNERS BOUNDARY.
