6_10_99 Public Meeting at Civic Centre, Barnstaple - Scotts Moor to Parkland.
Implications of wildlife report ignored by owner - owner reduces wildlife area to short lawn grass and earth (on Appeal dismissed). Photo produced at meeting. Following meeting the owner of Scotts Moor has had to retire to his designated curtilage. As at all times these areas have been under restrictions. We find it incredulous that the Environmental Health Department was given such advice from the Planning Department that there were no conditions cov ering this area.
