30_3_2006 Planning Manager to WRRG
"As you are aware when the variation of the S106 Application was presented to the Planning Committee at the meeting it was recommended for approval the owners/occupiers may have surmised that on this basis it would succeed but as you know this is not the case".
The only indication of what the new owners intended was from the previous owner who advised that the new owners intended to rever to the terms of the S106 Agreement.
FOLLOWING THE RESOLUTION OF THE MEMBERS AT THE MEETING OF 19TH OCTOBER 2005 IT WAS CONSIDERED BY THIS OFFICE THAT THIS SHOULD NOT BE PURSUED IMMEDIATELY TO GIVE THE NEW OWNERS OPPORTUNITY TO RESOLVE OUTSTANDING MATTERS.
The Group does not understand the reference to the costs to the new owner.
Presumably the property was purchased knowing such liabilities. It would have no bearing on the approach or actions of this authority.
