Bradiford Water is designated "main river" downstream of this site's location therefore powers are limited to certain works.

This was also confirmed by the Contractor employed by the owner of Scotts Moor to undertake extensive landscaping as part of the planning application for the swimming pool cover

"Environment Agency will take action on two matters"
"only if waste material has been imported onto the site and provide the overall land level is not raised within the indicative flood plain")

This work has now blocked one of the main entry points between the wildlife corridor and the SSSI area as stated in the Environment Agency's Project Appraisal Report - Authority Scheme Reference G6013.
